Partner & Family

ویزاها

Explore pathways that may help eligible partners and family members live together in Australia. We explain the available options, requirements and application process in clear and your own language.

Family Visa Options

The most suitable visa pathway depends on your relationship to your Australian sponsor, your age, your location and your sponsor’s citizenship or visa status.

Partner visa — onshore

Subclasses 820 and 801 are generally for an eligible spouse or de facto partner applying while in Australia.

Partner visa — offshore

Subclasses 309 and 100 are generally for an eligible spouse or de facto partner applying from outside Australia.

Prospective Marriage visa

Subclass 300 may allow an eligible person to come to Australia to marry their prospective spouse and later apply for a Partner visa.

Parent visas

Permanent and temporary parent pathways may be available, including contributory options. Waiting periods and costs can differ significantly.

Child & adoption visas

Options may be available for eligible dependent children, adopted children and certain orphan relatives.

Other family visas

Limited pathways may exist for carers, remaining relatives and aged dependent relatives where strict requirements are met.

Important: Eligibility and sponsorship rules vary between subclasses. Visa requirements, fees and processing arrangements can change. This page provides general information only and is not individual migration advice.
